Dare I mention a Heavy Metal band on this forum? Well, I quess this is the place for it. This particular album is a must have for my collection as I have bought it on vinyl, cassette, and disc. The lyrics are Satanic and the music is splendid. The first song "Evil" gets your blood pumping and then is followed by the 2nd masterpiece"Curse Of The Pharaohs". "Into The Coven" has a fantastic intro and is yet another classic. " At The Sound Of The Demon Bell" ...

Here's something I think is (very near to) masterpeace. Willie Alexander and the Boom Boom Band's second album !978. Hey! single Mass. ave was Stephen Kings 24 best songs list. This alb is one of my top 10 albums. No cd revamp yet. Find this as a cutout early 80's. good band but very vee-ry loose singer. great songs & playing. Lyrics are also one of a kind, sloppy mess and so great!

A great trio (1974), but that's not Dickie Hell on the bass?

Wouldn't call them" forgotten" or "masterpieces",

but they usedta rool the roost... The drummer (the only survivor) still sings in a language of his very own.

Later, in the 80s, the guitar player admitted JT had a "unique sound" and said he'd be interested in co-operation, but sadly he passed too early for that.

This album by Rick Rivets are one of my absolute favourites. Just bought it because of the long shot connection of NY Dolls. The first album wasn�t really that great, but this!

The Slugs singles (Here as the Paul Blaccard remastered cd) are top stuff too.

There are plans on giving out the Corpse Grinders as CD:S remastered with bonus material. Hope that is true!

completley underrated almost unheard of band from the Pacific Northwest. A 60's garage band that was loud, fast and nasty. The singer (Gerry Roslie) screams and yelps into the microphone, while the drums (Bob Bennett) are like a battering ram trying to crash into the wall of distorted sound the guitars (lead: Larry Parypa & Bass:Andy Parypa) create. Both records are amazing but notable tracks would be:

this album i really like!i dont really know much about the band except that the singer is a guy called steve jones(not the pistols steve!).its kinda like a punk edged version of slade.they even do come on feel the noise.its great stuff. got it when i bought a load of punk albums as mp3`s (which you used to be able to buy on ebay until they caught on.).anyway,its well worthy of checking out if you dont already have it!

I think people mostly remember their 1980's heyday, when for a very short time they were the biggest band in the land and had moved away from their guitar-crunching pop-perfect debut and follow-up, ...
