I can feel the fire!
Great band.
Did Johnny ever hang out with Wood or Richard? I think if stones had picked Johnny instead of Wood he might still be alive?

Yeah, the Faces were great, the old Rod was great. Shoulda quit while he was ahead (a long time ago)!

The Faces...such a great band...they we´re super until their Bass player Ronnie Lane quit the band....I think their only weak album is Live from Coast to Coast...and this album is of course whitout Mr Ronnie Lane...R.I.P. Best Orvar66.

Great good time rock n roll band with Woods best playing, Debris still brings a tear to the eye. Ultimately prefer the Small Faces though. Fantastic doc on Ronnie Laine a while back. Any pre leopardskin leotard Rod is worth a listen in my book. Every Picture Tells a Story is a Classic. A reform has been on the cards/rumoured for a few years…Saw Wood and Stewart doing Stay With Me a while back and it wasn’t that good to be honest.

Happy to say that the first proper gig I ever went to was to see the Small Faces play in Sheffield on their reunion tour in 1977 - never forget that one. As a sign of the changing times, the support band that night was Cock Sparrer!!!!!

God, I remember Peel playing We Love You all the time.
Must have been good to see SF reform, though the ‘Comeback’ album was poor (IMO). Saw Steve Marriott umpteen times with Packet Of Three/Official Receivers. Amazing. He was playing the pubs/clubs and not exactly riding the crest of a wave, but put in incredibly intense passionate performances every night.
