completley underrated almost unheard of band from the Pacific Northwest. A 60's garage band that was loud, fast and nasty. The singer (Gerry Roslie) screams and yelps into the microphone, while the drums (Bob Bennett) are like a battering ram trying to crash into the wall of distorted sound the guitars (lead: Larry Parypa & Bass:Andy Parypa) create. Both records are amazing but notable tracks would be:
Cinderalla
Strychnine
Boss Hoss
He's Waiting
Shot Down
Have Love will Travel
Psycho

Any other Fans?

Absolutely love the Sonics. First heard of them via the Cramps and Fuzztones cover versions years ago.
What more is there to say, totally awesome sound, fantastic songs, and Roslie is the garage screamer of all time. All of the above songs are classics. Check out their version of Louie Louie. When it stops in the middle and kicks in again Larry Parypa’s guitar sounds like its on a one way ticket to garage core meltdown.

What do The Sonics and The Boys have in common? They both released Christmas albums!

Another one here, since 20 odd years back!

I almost cried since I couldnt go to see them play a few weeks back... it seems like they still sounded like they did in the 60's.
